"What is a Portrait" Exhibition

Two photographs from my Brooklyn series were selected for this juried exhibition, by jurer Ruben Natal-San Miguel. Opening night Saturday December 13th from 7-10pm and on view until January 17th 2015 at Ripe Art Gallery in Huntington, New York.

Poladarium 2015

Two of my photographs shot with my converted vintage Polaroid SX-70 made it into Poladarium 2015, a gorgeous compilation of Polaroid images made into a 365 day tear off calendar handmade in Germany. Each day also comes with a story on the back about the photograph. Here is a nice video of how it is made. Order yours here.

I had a tiny photo I took of Mermaid's Garden in Prospect Heights was published inside New York Magazine's Food & Drink Issue. Here is the online version on Grub Street. (Seafood / Mermaid's Garden)

My Photograph of Brooklyn Grange made the cover of Yes! Magazine. There are also 2 more photos inside with a small article. You can subscribe or find one at any Hudson News Stand.

Twoj STYL, the largest Lifestyle magazine in Poland published a couple photographs I took of Mermaid's Garden in a story about New York for the September Issue.

iPhone Only Assignment

I just shot my first iPhone only travel story for the Food Issue of Hipstamatic's Snap Magazine. I am editing it now. It was all shot with the Hisptamatic App on an iPhone 5s. 

I brought my DSLR along but found myself shooting with my iphone more...at least for this assignment.

The images above were taken at Table on Ten in Bloomville, New York, one of my top picks for staying and eating in the Catskills.

Walls and doorways like this are part of the charm of Williamsburg. It is though being slowly taken over and homogenized by luxury condos and corporate store fronts, changing the neighborhoods character.
